If this type of error message showing, its the reason to you didn't publish the topology or topology publishing failed .

Go to the topology and publish it properway finaly go to the deployment wizard steps and re run it again.

If this type of message comes, you have to check the prerequisite.

After complete that you can continue.

wmf2008r2 - Error lync server 2010 with Windows 2008 R2 SP1

When you deploy Lync Server 2010 on Windows 2008 R2 SP1, Middle of prerequest checking this messeage will come. Don't get exsited you can recover it



Solution

Go to the Server Management Console > Select Add Feature > Do following

Then you can continue the Deployment without having a problem , 

Note: Fresh deployment people better to use Windows Server 2008 R2 or Go with Server 2008 R2 by adding Desktop Experience
